SITE RULES
Failure to follow the list of rules below will result in a warning. If multiple offenses occur such extremes as username bans and IP bans will be taken into consideration. My advise - follow them. Their not that bad..

    1. All RP posts are expected to be at least a paragraph or two long, but preferably longer. I understand that some of you are new at roleplaying, and everyone loses their muse sometimes, so I'm trying to be fair in this. Basically, please try your best not to post one-liners.

    2. Only one character per account. It makes things a lot less confusing.

    3. No god-moding or power-playing. It's rude, and takes the roleplay element out of the whole thing.. it's like your writing a story, rather than having others acting out the parts. Control of another persons character without their permission is not something I'm lenient about..

    Example:
Billy was listening to music, when he tripped and fell. His book flew out of his hand and hit Susy in the face and she fell down and scraped her elbow.

    - Billy's character played out what was actually done by Susy. Everything after his book flying out of his hand should have been up to the character of Susy to decide, not Billy.

    4. Do not roleplay in first person. It is confusing, and isn't as compelling as posts in third person are, as they allow for a mild form of narration to occer. Posts made in first person are usually very weak; just don't do it.

    Example:
I walked around the lake, my eyes glazed over as I attempted to find someone to hang out with.

    - That was a detailed sentence, but was in the wrong point of view. Instead of using I, my, me, etc.. you use the characters name and he/she/her/him..

    5. Explicit posts are allowed [i.e. drugs, alchohol, sex], but please be sure to place an appropriate rating in the title if you feel they might make some uncomfortable. If I find a post that may be inappropriate for some ages without a warning or rating in the title, you will be confronted by a member of the staff.

    6. Fights out-of-character aren't tolerated. If you have a problem with a member, please tell an admin rather than starting a forum feud.

    7. Refrain from using chatspeak in your roleplays. While it does add a somewhat modern flare to your posts at times, excessive amounts of 'lol' and 'omgz' can become irksome.

    8. There will be no teen pregnancy without approval by an admin. This goes along with the notion that every action has a consequence, so if your character engages in activities unprotected all of the time, it's not quite safe.

    9. Cursing is allowed, but please keep it to a minimum. There are kids as young as thirteen on these boards and it may not be appropriate to cuss 24/7 around them. Just try not to have a sailor-mouth, kay?

    10. Have fun. That's why this forum is here. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to email me or any other staff at any time. We want this to be as enjoyable a forum as possible!

'cus I could go across the world,
and see everything and never be satisfied.
if I couldn't see those eyes.
